Polyform Walker Hand Splint
Rolyan Walker Splint is designed to assist individuals with a weak grip hold onto a walker handle. The splint should be positioned over the handle of the walker so the thumb fits into the side opening. If the splint requires adjusting, spot heat with a heat gun or in a heat pan of water at a temperature of 150-160 degrees Fahrenheit (60-75 degrees Celsius) until pliable.
Ideal for Increasing Grip
The hand can slip off the walker handle, limiting the users ability to control the walker and the amount of trunk support provided. Ideal for maintaining wrist alignment, Rolyan Walker Splint solves the difficult problem of positioning a weak or "hemi" hand on a walker. Available for the right or left hand, determine the size right for you by measuring width of hand at knuckles, not including the thumb.
Cushioned with Kushionflex Pad
The splint is made from Polyform splinting material with a Kushionflex pad. The Kushionflex pad can be placed where the heel of the hand rests on the splint. Trim it to fit as necessary before applying the self-adhesive back to the splint. The splint is supplied complete with straps to ensure compliance and control.
