Adaptive Tableware for Alzheimer's
Ideal for patients with Alzheimer's disease, Maddak Redware Tableware benefits those who experience weight loss, decreased visual capacity and visual deficits. Studies suggest that weight loss in patient's suffering from Alzheimer's disease is due, in part, to the lack of color contrast between dinnerware and food. Using high-contrast tableware such as Redware helps patients experience an increase in food and liquid intake.

Designed to assist individuals with limited muscle control while dining, Maddak Redware Tableware is available in two different sets, Basic or Deluxe. The inner lip plate features a curved edge within the plate that keeps food from sliding off the plate and helps push food onto the utensils. Ideal for people with reduced muscle control , this adaptive dining plate can be purchased separately from the Basic and Delue tableware sets. Requiring only one hand to use, the Maddak Redware Tableware is dishwasher, autoclave and microwave safe.
